Commentary: Practicing on the Tip of an Information Iceberg? Evidence of Underpublication of Registered Clinical Trials in Oncology

The trial registry to which we intended to refer in our paper is the International Standard Randomised Controlled Trial Number (ISRCTN) Register (http://www.controlled-trials.com), which is operated by the Science Navigation Group, an international collection of independent publishing companies. There is no mention on its website of an affiliation with the World Health Organization (WHO). The citation of the WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP) website was an error. We thank Davina Ghersi of the WHO ICTRP for calling the error to our attention.
