SUMMARY: This study aimed to derive estimates of long-term survival expectations for patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosed in 2006–2010 using model-based projection after thorough empirical evaluation of the performance of this method. Using this method, the long-term survival expectations of currently diagnosed patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma are likely to be substantially higher than those suggested by previously available survival statistics.
