Mario Boccadoro, M.D.
Professor Boccadoro is a Professor of Hematology in the Department of Medicine and Experimental Oncology, University of Torino, Italy. He has been coordinator of many myeloma study groups, and is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH), among other societies. Professor Boccadoro's main interests include efficacy of high-dose vs conventional chemotherapy for multiple myeloma, the role of prognostic factors in multiple myeloma, immunosurveillance and immunotherapy, and molecular alterations and minimal residual disease.
