Nicholas Thatcher, MB BChir, Ph.D., FRCP
Dr. Thatcher is a Professor of Oncology at the University of Manchester, and works at the Christie Hospital and Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester, UK. He is Chairman of the Lung Cancer Disease Orientated Group. Dr. Thatcher was awarded a personal Chair in Oncology in 1996. He served as Vice-Chairman of the United Kingdom Coordinating Committee on Cancer Research and is a member of the National Cancer Trials Network Lung Group. His main interest is clinical trial research of lung cancer and the development of new treatments.
